·      Promote activities that will unify Filipino nurses in the Rio Grande Valley

·         Facilitate networking with professional organizations or agencies - local, state, national or institutions of learning to provide locally educational activities designed to improve or advance the practice of nursing

·         Foster a positive image of Filipino nurses in the community

·         Help new Filipino nurses and their family in the Rio Grande Valley with acculturation and adjustment at work.

·         Provide an opportunity for leadership

·         Identify educational needs of Filipino nurses and provide means of meeting them

·         To support the purpose and objectives of the Philippine Nurses Association of America
